Barb “bobbysue” Kobren founded bobbysue’s nuts in 2008 using her family’s generations-old recipe for spiced nuts, with the idea of donating a portion of the profits from each sale to animal rescue organizations. Today bobbysue’s nuts is a national brand sold through grocery chains and other speciality retailers throughout the U.S. According to company president Adam Kobren, C2FO is helpful in bridging the gap between purchasing ingredients and getting paid for orders. He says, “It’s 60 to 90 days from the time we order nuts through production and shipping until we get paid for the product we make. The amount we’re bidding is very reasonable and on average we get paid within about six days of when we invoice.”
