CASE STUDY

Ipanema – Klub Nico

Why we use C2FO

  • We get access to money at a great rate that’s better than we can get from outside financing
  • Helps us keep moving forward by funding upcoming purchase orders
  • The rates factoring companies charge are just really expensive

“Love the efficiency and the timeliness – it’s instant gratification.”

OWNER

Klub Nico is a brand of Ipanema, Inc. a Northern California-based company founded by Kelley A. Lehner in 2005. She seeks to provide the modern woman with footwear that converges unique style, comfort and value. Each shoe is manufactured using a combination of traditional craftsmanship and the latest technology in shoe making. Lehner describes her industry as requiring a lot of working capital for ongoing production and growth. She says, “It’s difficult because you’ll close a deal and you’re so excited and you have a huge purchase order, but you still have to fund the order with the factories.” The company anticipates a growth spurt in 2016 and Lehner says, “What I like about C2FO is you can use it when you need it. When we’re putting in a lot of factory orders I can switch it on and we have access to that capital.”
