Why we use C2FO

  • Increased cash flow helps us expand our business by anticipating
    flavor trends.
  • The rates we get through C2FO are working well for us.
  • C2FO is not like factoring – it’s much, much better.

“C2FO is really great. They improve our cash flow, which helps us with promotion and market expansion.”

CO-OWNER

Starport Foods creates and manufactures ready-to-use Asian and fusion cooking sauces and seasonings for food service chefs. They also create private label “secret sauces” for restaurant chains. Company co-owner Cheryl Tsang says, “Working capital is challenging for us because we make small batches of our sauces and we want to keep the inventory turning over quickly so everything’s fresh. It’s more cost-effective to buy raw materials in bigger lots, so we end up with a lot of money tied up in inventory.” She continues, “We were one of the first Sysco vendors to sign up in 2013. C2FO was very exciting for a small vendor because we’d never had an offer from a customer to be able to receive our payments quicker.”
