We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team. The team is tasked with building out a strong marketing strategy, providing key insights into critical business challenges and assessing new business opportunities through rigorous analysis of data from multiple data sources.
The Business Analyst sits within the marketing organization and will work closely with the finance, sales, and account management teams to deliver data driven results and insights that inform solutions to marketing and business issues. The Business Analyst will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful analytics and insights, measuring performance behind our efforts, testing and ROI analysis for our various programs and campaigns.
Work with internal partners to assess business needs and transform them into meaningful observations by selecting optimal analytic technique(s) to pull the appropriate data elements.
Summarize and present analyses/models to audiences ranging from individual contributors to senior management.
Deep familiarity with modeling tools and ability to pull data using SQL, and other technologies from the customer database and other sources – data which includes campaign response, transaction data, and customer profile information.
Design, program, generate and automate concise KPI reports and/or dashboards that track effectiveness and ROI of programs.
Analyze customer behavior, including behavioral customer profiling, life cycle analysis, and customer segmentation
Work closely with marketing, product, and software development teams to develop tracking elements necessary to effectively measure program response
Experience building predictive models and performing descriptive analytics using statistical methods such as clustering and segmentation techniques, logistic regression, and propensity modeling to support the marketing efforts and business needs)
Our CRM team has an outstanding opportunity for a candidate who has:
5+ year’s business analytics experience.
Advanced proficiency in SQL with ability to design and execute advanced database queries to answer business questions.
Proven command of statistical tools such as R and/or Python.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and\or MS Power BI a plus.
Proficiency in data transformation, consolidating data from disparate sources, into data visualization of analytic findings.
Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
Solid organizational and time management skills to manage workload and meet necessary timelines.
Candidate should be detail oriented, self-motivated, and an excellent creative problem solver, with a proven ability to successfully manage multiple, disparate streams of work in a challenging, dynamic environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
A college degree in Business/Marketing, Finance, Computer Science, or other technical or quantitative field strongly preferred.
Prior financial industry experience
