C2FO Fast Track Series

Welcome to the C2FO Fast Track Series!

This bi-weekly series highlights frequently asked questions about C2FO Early Pay. In each article, we’ll help you get up and running on the platform to accelerate invoice payments — and optimize your working capital — in no time.

Partnering with an early payment program provider such as C2FO gives buyers an easy, cost-effective way to pay suppliers early in exchange for a discount. C2FO works closely with buyers to launch early payment programs and support supplier participation and success.

How does C2FO work with your buyer?

C2FO provides buyers with a user-friendly portal to facilitate early payment programs. Buyers select C2FO Early Pay and work with a C2FO implementation team to get the program up and running. C2FO then works with the buyer to onboard suppliers to the program.

If your buyer has chosen C2FO as an official early payment program provider, the buyer has:

  • Exchanged your business’s contact information with C2FO.
  • Emailed your business the program information and onboarding instructions.
  • Given you access to C2FO’s supplier relationship managers, who can help you take advantage of the program.

Once you set up an account, create an early payment offer and get it approved, your buyer pays your invoice directly, minus the discount, via your usual payment method. C2FO does not advance early payment to you or manage any part of the payment process.

Why do buyers work with C2FO?

Early payment programs have many benefits for buyers that significantly impact both their suppliers directly, and the overall health of their supply chain:

  • Accepting invoice discounts helps buyers reduce the cost of goods sold (COGS), get risk-free cash returns and improve core business metrics.
  • Supporting supplier cash flow strengthens the buyer’s entire supply chain. This is highly valuable, especially in a climate of economic uncertainty and persistent supply chain disruptions.
  • Buyers can use early payment programs to segment and fund diverse-owned and sustainability-focused suppliers, which supports environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives.

Numerous global buyers have found success by offering C2FO’s solutions to suppliers, citing program flexibility as a key benefit over alternatives such as supply chain financing. Click here to read more about the positive global impact of C2FO’s programs.
